Selena’s flagship product – TYTAN Professional adhesive – has been awarded during the construction fair MosBuild in Moscow. Adhesive bonding pipes has been hailed as the greatest innovation of the year and best-selling product for home users.
TYTAN Professional connects pipes by binding them with a so-called “cold seam” which eliminates the need for welding. It is also suitable for joining carpets or construction elements made of PVC. It is valued mainly for its excellent performance and suitability for bonding parts with complex shapes. It can be used by both home users and professionals.
It is worth noting that the MosBuild in Russia is one of the biggest international events in the construction industry. These fairs have been held in Moscow every year for 20 years. Every time they attract more and more companies and a larger group of interested people. Last year, more than 2 300 exhibitors and 170 000 visitors took part in the fair.
As a part of this prestigious event, a news agency INFOline TOP DIY Retail Russia has decided to award adhesive of Selena with a prize in the category of “Innovation of the year of construction chemicals.” TYTAN Professional was assessed in a group of products of leading manufacturers and suppliers of building materials and finishing on the Russian market by DIY Advice Russia TOP 2015. The award was collected by representatives of Selena Vostok – A Russian company in the Selena Group.
Selena has been present in Russia since 2007, providing premium products designed for a broad audience. In the Russian market the most popular products include: polyurethane foams, sealants and adhesives from Titanium, Artelit, Matizol and Quilosa.
“The fair in Moscow was for us not only confirmation of the quality of our products – among others thanks to the received prize – but above all, an ideal opportunity to showcase our company at the forum accompanying the fair, and to establish further business contacts” reports Jarosław Michniuk, the CEO of Selena FM S.A. As it turns out, it was not the first award for this manufacturer.
“It is not the first award won by our company on the Russian market. In 2013, Selena was named the Company of the Year and the Socially Responsible Company. The awards are extremely valuable for us, as they are a signal that our products are ideal for the local market and successfully gain recognition among Russian customers. Despite the current difficult political and economic situation we are now focusing on the implementation of a new portfolio, even better adapted to the market” assures Michniuk.
