AB, the largest IT and CE distributor in Middle-East Europe and participant of the Polish Champion programme, coordinated by Wrocław Agglomeration Development Agency, has released a new tablet onto the market. The device is sold under a new brand owned by AB – Triline.
Triline tablet computer
The newest product of Triline is a tablet computer with Android 4.0.3 operating system and a 1GHz CPU. Thanks to a capacitive IPS touchscreen with 1200×800 resolution and a multi-touch support, operating this tablet is exceptionally easy and pleasant. The device is equipped with 1GB of RAM and 16GB flash memory to store files. Internet connections are via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1.
‘When it comes to the development of the market offer, AB pays a particular attention to the growth potential of specific product groups, such as for example tablets, the sales of which are likely to increase within the upcoming few years.’ said Mr. Zbigniew Mądry, commercial director and board member at AB S.A. (PLC).
First tablet from the Triline brand was released in May. It uses the Android 4.0.3. OS (Polish version), a capacitive 7 inch touchscreen with 800×480 resolution and multi-touch interface together with Wi-Fi and 3G connections. What makes this device different from other competing offers is the price. It is available in stores for a few hundred PLN in basic configuration.
‘375 million tablets are going to be sold in 2016 according to estimates. which will make the number of tablet users reach 750 million people worldwide.’ emphasized Mr. Mądry.
Triline brand computers are top quality products due to designing and production processes certified with PN-EN ISO 9001:2000 norm. These devices are also environmentally-friendly and safe which is proved by compliance of the production process with PN-EN ISO 140001:2005 norm. Many of the computers are also in line with the Energy Star norm.
AB’s portfolio contains about 600 global brands in its portfolio. The development of its own brands made the next Triline tablet enter the market. This new direction in the company’s strategy is a response to global and local market trends. Main objectives of the recent policy at AB is to prove flexibility and adjust the product offer range of the largest IT distributor in our region.
