Kruk is organizing another Debt Free Day

Dzień bez DługuOn Monday, November 17, we will celebrate Debt Free Day for the sixth time. This action initiated by Kruk is to spread financial awareness among people in debt and support them in their quest to solve the problems of debt.

Kruk’s representatives assure that it is also the best occasion to educate Polish people about how to reasonably borrow money and manage the household budget.

This year’s Debt Free Day will be dedicated to the impact of debt on family life and the emotions that arise in situations of debt.

There will be a helpline for those in debt. By calling 800 700 096, it will be possible to receive advice from a lawyer or debt adviser from Kruk group.
For those who prefer to talk face to face, in five cities in Poland there will be advice points created, at which one can take advantage of a free consultation with Kruk specialists and representatives of the Association for Promotion of Financial Education and Association of Support for Indebted People Program.
The points will appear in Wrocław, Warsaw, Kraków, Gdańsk and Poznań in major railway stations. Advice will be provided from 8 am to 6 pm.

Also the Internet and Home Financial Plan fanpage will involve special activities. There will be advice and practical tips given on how to manage a household budget.

In addition, there will be a competition organized to create a poster promoting Debt Free Day. To take part in it, simply submit a poster design or image, which reflects the idea of Debt Free Day to kontakt@dobryplanfinansowy.pl address.

Submissions can be sent until November 13th. The main prize in the competition is an iPad2. Results will be announced on November 17, that is, Debt Free Day.

The nationwide campaign Debt Free Day is supported throughout the year by the naszedlugi.pl page that includes information and advice on the organization of family finances, including a household budget calculator.

On that site you can also learn how to wisely borrow money, and what to do in case of falling into debt. Additional support is provided by a glossary of useful terms. On the occasion of Debt Free Day the page has gained a new layout.
