SMT Software, a subsidiary of SMT SA, has won the tender to build, among other things, a portal integrated with a ePUAP platform and Electronic Document Flow System for Krakow City Hall.
The contract is the continuation of the construction and implementation of the System of Electronic Public Services (SEUP) in the City Hall. The project amounts to a gross value of PLN 3.2 million, and its implementation is expected to last until 31st March 2015. SEUP aims to increase the number of services that residents will be able to recieve electronically.
An Electronic City Hall portal is integrated with the ePUAP platform, enabling the execution of tasks related to the provision of electronic services. The Electronic Document Flow System is software for performing office activities in local government units, which provides support for electronic and paper documents, correspondence flow and issues of workflow mechanisms within the City Hall, archiving, and exchanging documents within ICT systems.
As a part of the contract, SMT will also create six domain systems, i.e. applications to support processes and procedures in specific areas. New applications will replace the previously used tools and enable a more efficient and smooth operation of City Hall.
The project is implemented under the Malopolska Regional Operational Programme for 2007-2013, Action 1.2: The development of the information society. The system is designed to implement administrative issues via the Internet. It will also help in the daily work of employees of Krakow City Hall.
