Wrocław AB group, which cooperates with Apple, will introduce the latest generation of the flagship smartphone of the American company to the Polish and Czech markets on Friday, 24th October. In Slovakia, the new device will go on sale by the end of October.
Friday’s premiere of the new generation of the innovative Apple smartphone will present two versions – with screen sizes of 4.7 inches (iPhone 6) and 5.5 inches (iPhone 6 Plus).
“The first debut of the new generation iPhone on the market in our history of cooperation with Apple is ahead of us. We have seen tremendous success for this product in markets where it is already available. We expect an equally enthusiastic reception in the region of Central and Eastern Europe” says Andrzej Przybyło, Chairman of the Board of AB SA.
As explained by representatives of the Polish National Champion, the high stability of the business at the highest scale of operations in the region enabled the AB group to gain the prestigious distribution contracts from Apple. AB is currently their only broadline distributor in Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia (iPhone, iPad, iPod, Mac).
The world premiere of the sixth generation iPhone took place on 19th September. Apple has revealed that during the first day of sales there were more than 4 million orders made, while in the first three days of release there were up to 10 million units of new products sold. And this is only in the US, Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Canada, the UK, Australia, France and Germany. Beginning sale on new markets takes place gradually.
The sale results of the new generation of iPhone exceeded the record sales of 5S / 5C (2.2 million units on the first day, 9 million units during the first 3 days).
Analysts of reputable financial market institutions (including Evercore Partners, Piper Jaffray) estimate that during the first quarter the next generation smartphone iPhone will go to about 60 million customers.
