Impel Group at the 7th European Economic Congress in Katowice

EEC nowe logo bez daty KOLOR bez flagiOn May 18-20, Impel Group participated in the 7th European Economic Congress (EEC) in Katowice, the most important economic event in central Europe.

The three-day congress was attended by more than 8,000 guests from Europe, Asia and Africa. It featured lectures and panel discussions that focused on new directions of economic development and its challenges for our continent. In 120 debates there were over 700 speakers. At the opening session, there was a special guest, Prime Minister Beata Szydło. Impel Group was a partner of this event.

This year’s congress included the following topics:
– Energy, industry, climate – horizon 2030. Scenarios for the world and Europe
– Digitalization of the economy. Opportunities, challenges and threats of the digital revolution
– Geopolitics, security, economy. Is this a global crisis?
– Young entrepreneurs. New business as the carrier of innovation

The main objective of the organizers of the EEC was to host debates appropriate to the situation in Europe, Poland and the world. Three days of thematic sessions with the participation of representatives of business, CEOs of the largest companies, policy makers, researchers and practitioners, politicians and local governments, resulted in the emergence of key applications for Polish and European economy.

At the Impel Group stand in the VIP area, meetings were held with trade and business partners, while the company’s representatives took part in several panel discussions. Jakub Dzik, Vice President of Impel S.A. and CEO of BPO, spoke about digital security during the panel titled “Digitalization of the economy. Opportunities, challenges and threats of digital revolution.” Bogdan Dzik, Vice President of the Management Board of Impel S.A. and CEO of FM, shared his opinions during the debate on the opportunities and threats facing the business services sector in Poland. Wojciech Świątkowski, Director of Corporate Development of the Impel Group, took part in the panel on business wealth management, while Grzegorz Dzik, President of the Management Board of Impel S.A. and CEO of the Impel Group, gave several interviews to the media.
